Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions explain the rules for using The Event Nexus website, registering for virtual events, and accessing on-demand training offered by Malone Media Productions, LLC.
Last updated: October 26, 2026
1. Who provides the services covered by these terms and conditions?
The Event Nexus is operated by its parent company, Malone Media Productions, LLC, located at 45 Anthem Circle, Ponte Vedra, FL 32081, United States. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to that company in connection with The Event Nexus.
Our services include theeventnexus.com, event registration pages, virtual conferences, workshops, and the on-demand training library . Separate agreements for Malone Media production services remain governed by their own terms.
2. How do these terms and conditions apply?
These terms apply to use of our website and services to the extent validly incorporated into an agreement under applicable law. Review them before registering or purchasing. If you do not agree, do not complete a registration or purchase requiring acceptance.
Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. If you purchase for an organization, you represent that you have authority to make that purchase on its behalf.
Mandatory law takes priority. A separately signed agreement takes priority for its subject matter, followed by specific program or purchase terms clearly disclosed and agreed before purchase, then these general terms. An order confirmation records the purchase; it does not introduce undisclosed restrictions. Later changes do not automatically alter an existing purchase.
3. How do registration and payment work?
Provide accurate registration, billing, and attendee information, and use a payment method you are authorized to use. Review the selected program, registration category, total price, currency, applicable taxes, and access details before completing payment.
Individual, team, and department options vary by program. A group purchase authorizes only the number of participants included in that purchase. Contact us about additional attendees or substitutions rather than distributing access beyond the purchased allocation.
Promotional prices apply only during the stated offer and subject to disclosed conditions. A pricing or description error does not authorize us to charge a higher amount without agreement; where correction affects an order, we will contact you about available options.
Payment providers apply their own payment-processing terms. Keep your confirmation and contact us if it does not arrive or appears incorrect. These terms and conditions do not authorize undisclosed recurring charges.
4. What access does a purchase include?
The program description and purchase terms identify whether registration includes live participation, a replay, materials, evaluations, or a certificate. Availability and access periods vary. No lifetime access, downloadable recording, continuing-education accreditation, or certificate is promised unless expressly included.
Access is for registered or otherwise authorized participants. Keep individual credentials and private access links secure. Team and department permissions are limited to the allocation and uses included in the purchase.
You are responsible for a compatible device, supported browser, and suitable internet connection. Contact us promptly about access problems so we can investigate. Customer-side technical issues do not remove remedies for a failure by us to deliver what was purchased.
5. What terms and conditions govern cancellations and refunds?
Any cancellation, refund, credit, transfer, or substitution policy clearly disclosed and agreed before purchase applies to that purchase, subject to mandatory law. Review it before paying and retain a copy. These general terms do not create a blanket “all sales final” rule or an undisclosed cancellation fee.
To request assistance, email info@malone-media.com with your name, program, order reference, and requested resolution. Do not include full payment card details. If no specific policy was supplied, contact us for review; statutory rights and remedies remain available.
Applicable cancellation, withdrawal, conformity, and refund rights are not waived merely by registration or opening an access link. Where immediate digital delivery or early service performance requires separate express consent and acknowledgment of consequences for a withdrawal right, those requirements must be satisfied separately. This page alone does not provide that consent.
For general information about applicable EU consumer protections, see the European Union consumer-rights guidance . Eligibility depends on the transaction and applicable law.
6. What happens if an event changes or is cancelled?
Speakers, session order, topics, timing, or delivery arrangements may change. We will communicate material changes using appropriate channels, including the contact details supplied with registration.
If a program is cancelled, postponed, or materially changed, applicable purchase terms and law determine the available remedies. A credit, replacement event, or replay does not automatically replace a refund or other remedy required by law or promised before purchase.
Events outside reasonable control may affect delivery. We will communicate the effect and available next steps. Such circumstances do not automatically eliminate obligations to address undelivered services or mandatory customer remedies.
7. How may training content be used?
Website content, presentations, recordings, handouts, designs, and other materials are owned by us, speakers, or other rights holders, as applicable. Purchasing access does not transfer ownership.
Subject to the purchased access rights, you may view content and use materials made available for download for your own learning and authorized internal work. Unless separately licensed, do not redistribute recordings or slides, resell access, publish paid materials, share individual credentials, or make unauthorized recordings.
Do not upload nonpublic training materials or recordings to third-party AI services without appropriate permission. This restriction does not prevent use of general knowledge or skills learned, authorized uses, or rights permitted by applicable law.
For licensing, group screening, or reuse permissions, contact us. These terms and conditions preserve applicable copyright exceptions. Learn more from the U.S. Copyright Office .
8. What conduct is required?
Use our services lawfully and respectfully. Do not harass participants, disrupt sessions, impersonate others, distribute malware, bypass access controls, attempt unauthorized access, or infringe another person’s rights.
Do not use shared event spaces for unsolicited promotion or disclose confidential employer, client, or personal information without authorization. We may moderate contributions and address disruptive behavior, subject to applicable law.
9. How are contributions and recordings handled?
Programs may be recorded for delivery and on-demand access. Depending on the format and your participation, a recording may capture a displayed name, image, voice, question, or chat contribution. Review event-specific notices and settings, and contact us before participating if you have concerns.
You retain ownership of your original contributions. To the extent you have the necessary rights and applicable law permits, voluntarily submitting a contribution for an event grants a nonexclusive permission to display and include it as reasonably necessary to deliver that event and its disclosed replay. This permission does not transfer ownership or create an unrestricted advertising endorsement.
You must have authority to share submitted material. Separate permissions and notices apply where required for recording, publicity, privacy, or other uses. These terms and conditions do not replace legally required consent.
10. How do privacy and communications work?
Our privacy policy explains personal information practices, providers, tracking, and available rights. Acceptance of these terms and conditions is not blanket consent to optional marketing, cookies, or unrelated disclosure of personal information.
We may send necessary non-promotional messages about a registration, purchase, access issue, or service change. Promotional email preferences can be managed through unsubscribe instructions or by contacting us.
If you separately enroll in an SMS program, the enrollment notice identifies its purposes and applicable details. Message frequency may vary and message or data rates may apply. Follow supplied STOP or HELP instructions, or contact us for assistance. Marketing-text consent, where required, is separate from purchasing. This page does not enroll you in texts. Legally valid consent-revocation requests remain effective even if made through another permitted method.
11. What about third-party platforms and links?
Registration, payment, video, and communications may involve third-party services, including HubSpot and Vimeo where used. External providers apply their own terms and notices to their services. Review them before supplying information or using those features.
Links are provided for relevant information and do not imply endorsement of every external statement. We do not control third-party websites, but using a provider does not remove our own legal obligations or commitments to customers.
12. What assurances and liability limitations apply?
Programs provide general professional education. Speaker views are their own unless expressly stated otherwise. Content is not individualized legal, financial, medical, or other regulated professional advice. No particular business outcome, employment result, certification status, or software performance is guaranteed unless expressly agreed.
To the extent permitted by law, public website information is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation. This does not override an express purchase commitment or mandatory standards applicable to paid services or digital content.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential business losses, such as lost profits or business opportunities. This exclusion applies only where enforceable and does not exclude losses or remedies that the law requires us to cover.
Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Mandatory consumer rights, refunds, and remedies remain unaffected.
13. When may access be suspended?
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address a material breach, unlawful conduct, unauthorized distribution, fraud, or a security threat. Where appropriate and practicable, we will explain the issue and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve it. Immediate action may be necessary to protect participants or systems.
A suspension does not automatically forfeit all payments or remove mandatory remedies. Contact us if you believe access was restricted in error. Rights and obligations that by their nature continue, such as content ownership and accrued payment obligations, survive the end of access.
14. What law and dispute rules apply?
These terms and conditions are governed by Florida law, subject to mandatory protections that apply under another jurisdiction’s law. Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, disputes may be brought in courts of competent jurisdiction in Florida.
Please contact us first where practical so we can try to resolve a concern. This request is not a mandatory arbitration agreement, a class-action waiver, a shortened limitation period, or a bar to contacting a regulator or using a competent court.
Consumers retain any mandatory rights to applicable home-jurisdiction protections and courts. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues to the extent permitted by law, without rewriting the agreement to remove mandatory protections. Failure to enforce a provision once does not waive future enforcement.
15. How are these terms and conditions updated, and how can you contact us?
We may update these terms and conditions for future use and purchases. The date above identifies the current version. We provide notice and obtain agreement where required. Revisions do not retroactively reduce rights or change an existing purchase without a valid legal basis and any required agreement.
